HCL Squash Tour Crowns New Champions as Jaipur Leg Concludes Successfully

 Multinational participation and rising Indian performances mark a successful Jaipur leg of the HCL Squash Indian Tour

Jaipur, 08th August 2025: The Jaipur leg of the HCL Squash Indian Tour 1 concluded today at the Rajasthan Squash Academy, Sawai Man Singh Stadium, marking another successful milestone in the collaborative effort between HCL and the Squash Rackets Federation of India (SRFI) to strengthen India’s squash ecosystem.

Organised by HCL, a leading global conglomerate, in partnership with SRFI, the tournament brought together over 50 professional squash players from 10 countries – including Egypt, Japan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Canada, China, Kuwait, South Korea, and India –  turning Jaipur into a hub of high-octane squash action over the past week.

n a thrilling culmination to the tour leg, Nour Khafagy (EGY), with a score of 11-3, 5-11, 11-5, 12-10 clinched the Women’s Championship, while Yassin Shohdy (EGY) with a score of 11-5, 11-7, 11-3  emerged victorious in the Men’s Final. Both finals featured gripping rallies and world-class athleticism, thrilling a vibrant audience of sports enthusiasts and dignitaries in attendance.

This PSA-registered event, carrying a prize purse of USD 9,000 each for men and women category, offered Indian players a rare and valuable opportunity to earn Professional Squash Association (PSA) ranking points on home soil – a crucial step in raising the competitive bar for Indian squash.

The HCL Squash Tour, launched in 2019, continues to build a strong domestic circuit in India by hosting PSA-registered tournaments across the country.
