Madurai, India – February 23, 2016 — HCL, a leading global IT services company, has recently kicked off its talent sourcing, training and hiring program in Madurai, Tamil Nadu through mass media campaign. Through this program, HCL will create 1000 local jobs for freshers. Candidates who get selected for this training program will be trained & skilled by HCL and post successful completion of the training will be deployed at HCL Madurai.
HCL has been conducting walk-in drives at its facility in Mattuthavani Madurai to select candidates for its training & hiring program. Over 750 candidates have already appeared for online tests and interviews while process of assessment & interview is on for remaining students. Considering the last date for application into this program is approaching, candidates interested for IT Careers in Madurai should walk-in and apply immediately so that their assessments & interviews can be conducted timely.
Overwhelmed with the response, Srimathi Shivashankar, Head People Operations, HCL Madurai said, “This is a great career opportunity for careers in IT for the local residents of Madurai. Candidates who get selected will undergo six months training and post successful completion of training they will be deployed at HCL Madurai.”
Recruitment Criterion
HCL Maduraiis hiring fresh engineering graduates who will undergo training in Madurai to become job ready. Applications for the training program were invited via a mass media campaign and candidates’ selection will be subject to their profiles meeting specific eligibility and clearing assessments.
In the first year, HCL shall hire freshers for training program as per the following eligibility criteria:
(i) Has to be a local resident of Madurai
(ii) Age and Gender – No bar
(iii) Qualification – B.E and B.Tech ( both IT and non IT background) and MCA
(iv) Freshers as well as candidates with 1-2 years of relevant IT or non IT experience
(v) Women / Housewives are encouraged to apply
